a long time ago in a galaxy far far away...
This story begins all the way over in Adelaide back in the 1980's. My mum's side of the family moved from Adelaide to Brisbane, where my Grandfather (Pop) learned the window cleaning trade from a relative and built up a window cleaning run from Redcliffe to Brisbane. Over time, my Uncle and Mum joined him, expanding north through the sunshine coast.

Then when my parents got married, they started their first window cleaning business together called Coastal Super Services. But in 1997 when they needed to move, they decided to switch industries and started their second business "Just Swimming Pool Renovations." They ran it until 2008 when health issues led them to sell their business.

Growing up, I always thought I'd work with them one day, but that changed when they sold their business. So when I started my own business I wanted to carry on both the family tradition and the name. That's how Just Window Washing was born—a nod to the past, with a focus on quality, care, and hard work.​​​​​

Now some more about me. If you know me in person, you'll know that I’ve always had a passion for technology. I built this website myself and even considered a career in web development—but I realized I wanted to do something more hands-on, something more rewarding.
​​Growing up, I spent countless hours immersed in things like special effects, 3D modelling, and coding. Those hobbies taught me to pay close attention to the finer details—an eye for precision that now comes in handy every single day. Whether it’s spotting a faint streak or catching a hidden fingerprint, I notice what others might miss.

I’ve been lucky to learn from my family who are some of the best in the industry—professionals with decades of experience—who’ve trained me in both traditional and modern techniques. I’m equally comfortable getting down with a classic squeegee and bucket or using more newer and advanced methods like using pure water-fed systems when the job calls for it.
